Online Policy

Subject to the conditions set forth below, we gladly accept returns or exchanges of new, unworn, unwashed, and unaltered items with all internal garment tags intact, including original packaging, within 14 days of receiving your order. We do not accept returns on any personalised or bespoke items.

  • Fragrances and Perfumes: Fragrances and perfumes can only be returned if unopened, sealed, and in their original packaging. Oil fragrances in clear bottles cannot be returned.
  • Condition of Returns: Any defects, including marks, stains, damage, or distinct smells on the items, suggesting they have been worn, will result in the return being rejected. Any item(s) returned with damage caused by the buyer or without tags will be sent back to the buyer.
  • Shipping and Handling Fees: Refunds do not include shipping costs. A 10% handling fee will be applied if items are returned overly creased or without their original packaging (including boxes and plastic covers).
  • Timeframe: Returns must be initiated within 14 days of receipt. We reserve the right to refuse to exchange or refund items not returned within this timeframe or not in compliance with the policy.
  • Hygiene Policy: Due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on hijabs, burkas, or any headwear, including abayas that are sold as a set with a khimar.
  • Sale and Custom Orders: Sale items can only be exchanged. Made-to-order items cannot be refunded or exchanged. Items purchased using online store credit also cannot be refunded.

Promotional Offers

When returning an item, if you received any promotion and the return results in the order no longer meeting the promotion criteria, any associated costs will be deducted. If you received an item as part of a promotion with your order, both the promotional item and your order must be returned for the return to be considered valid.

Important Notes:

  • Use a tracked service with delivery confirmation. In the event that we do not receive your returned item, we will require Proof of Postage. Refunds may be refused if Proof of Postage cannot be provided.
  • Anaqa Inspired is not responsible for items lost in transit.
  • Shipping costs will not be reimbursed. If a return is rejected due to non-compliance with our policy, a £4.65 shipping fee must be paid for the item to be returned to you. Items will be held until this fee is paid.

How to Exchange Your Order

 Important Notes:

  • Exchanges are subject to availability. If an item is out of stock, we reserve the right to offer substitute items of equal or higher value.
  • All exchange shipping charges must be prepaid. This includes postage for returning the original item to us as well as the cost of shipping the exchanged item back to you.
  • Anaqa Inspired is not responsible for items lost in transit. We recommend using a tracked service with delivery confirmation.
  • If the return does not comply with our exchange policy, we will require a shipping fee of £4.65 to send the original item back to you.a

Refunds

Once your item has been inspected and approved (up to 5 days from receipt), the refund will be processed via your original payment method. Alternatively, we offer store credit with a £5 bonus (e.g., for a £50 return, you'll receive £55 in store credit). Store credit can be used for online purchases and is valid for 12 months. Please note that once you select a refund to store credit, we are unable to change the refund method.

Refund processing times may vary by bank but typically take up to 10 business days.

Exclusions: Sale, custom, and discounted items are not eligible for returns.

Custom Items

Once the order process for a custom item has begun, it is not eligible for a refund. Refunds are granted at our discretion and depend on the stage of progress of the order.

In-Store Policy

Items purchased in-store are non-refundable. Exchanges are permitted within 7 days of purchase, provided items comply with our returns policy. Online returns cannot be processed in-store; please follow the online returns procedure.

Hijabs Policy: 

Hijabs included with abayas are provided as complimentary and cannot be exchanged or returned. All other hijabs, burkas, and headwear are non-refundable.
